I was a TA as an undergraduate for 2.5 years. I've taught general biology classes and labs as well as microbiology labs. I have taken extensive classes in microbiology and immunology, but have also taken courses in biochemistry, cell biology, etc. I have enjoyed teaching others for years! As a TA, I created my own course content (worksheets, presentations, study guides, etc.) based on the instructor's content as well as textbook concepts. I am a firm believer in the idea that knowledge in science and STEM fields comes with practice and hard work.
